Wild Creativity with a Passion for Small Business

Originally from Oklahoma City, OK, I graduated with a BA in English Literature from Oklahoma State University. I got my start in marketing when I was living in Austin, TX, back in 2005. I had a radio show on KOOP 91.7FM, and soon after, started working as a grassroots marketer for record labels. I was a street team promoter for Beggar's Group: 4AD, Rough Trade, Matador, XL recordings, and more. I loved it! As part of that work, I also created social media campaigns for the Street Syndicate and promoted musicians and comedians. It was a ton of fun, and that momentum took me out to Los Angeles in 2007, where I would work my way up as the website/social media manager for the Fonda Theater in Hollywood, CA.

I loved running the social media for the venue, creating newsletters, and getting the word out. Connecting people to the music and the experience was what I lived for.

However, after a few years in Los Angeles, it was time to migrate up to the Pacific NW. Once I got there in 2010, I started taking graphic/web design classes, perfecting my skills, and eventually took a job with a local restaurant chain as the Marketing Coordinator. It was a great learning experience, and by 2015 it was time to venture into the world of freelance marketing. I started Cascade Creative PDX and began a new, exciting chapter being my own boss and working on my small business dream.

In December 2017, I relocated back to Austin, TX, and rebranded Cascade Creative to Flight Path Creative. I love being back in my old stomping grounds—I missed the music and Tex-Mex! I'm always looking for new Austin clients and would love to hear about your small business.
